HOW I WORK

Figure it out.
Make it clear.

Make it happen.

I help brands get to what matters, find the strongest way forward & turn it into work people can connect with. Then I bring the right people together to get it made properly.

Featured projects

Work made for
the real world.

Six projects. Different challenges, different solutions & a closer look at each.

01 — BRAND BUILDING | CAMPAIGNS + CONTENT

Discover
South Carolina

Years of visual direction for a tourism brand built on discovery.

I shaped the brand’s visual direction across campaigns and content. That included launching Find the Undiscovered You, rebuilding the Greatness Grown chef series and creating Wild Wonders, a celebration of South Carolina’s natural beauty.

02 — BRAND BUILDING

Campsite Brewing co.

Nostalgia, fresh air & a cold beer at the end of the day.

I’ve partnered with Campsite from the beginning, building a brand that feels familiar without feeling old. The look combines outdoor adventure with a little nostalgia—easygoing, welcoming & right at home on a brewery can.

03 — BRAND BUILDING | CAMPAIGNS + CONTENT

South Carolina State Parks

More color, more energy & a better reflection of the places themselves.

I led a full visual overhaul that brought new life to the brand. I also helped guide the Ultimate Outsider campaign and carried the new direction across signage, apparel, advertising, digital, social and plenty more.

04 — BRAND BUILDING | CAMPAIGNS + CONTENT

Daniel Defense

A complete visual language for a brand built on precision.

I shaped the brand’s look across advertising, campaigns, email, web, catalogs and trade shows. Different formats, one consistent point of view—recognizable without needing the logo to do all the work.

05 — BRAND BUILDING

Nine Line Apparel

A fast-growing apparel brand with no shortage of things to make.

As Brand Design Manager, I refreshed the core identity, created original artwork and developed new apparel lines and sub-brands. I also led the custom design department, turning a constant flow of requests into products people wanted to wear.

06 — Documentary

Stan Smith: Honoring an Icon

Celebrating a tennis original, fifty years after Wimbledon.

I created the anniversary identity marking fifty years since Stan Smith’s Wimbledon win. The work celebrated the player, the personality and the cultural icon his name became.

Step by step

How I approach every project

Four steps. No mystery. Just a clear way to get from a messy brief to work that works.

01

Discovery

Read the brief. Ask better questions. Get to what actually needs solving before making anything.

02

Concept

Try a lot. Keep what works. Land on one strong idea everyone can understand & get behind.

03

Production

Build the system across brand, campaign and content. Keep each piece connected without making everything look the same.

04

Delivery

Check every version, format & final detail. Get it out the door properly—and ready for what comes next.

Values

Good Work
made right

Four things I bring to every job—whether it starts buttoned up, wide open or slightly on fire.

01

Good Idea First

If the idea can’t hold up on its own, adding more stuff won’t save it.

02

Craft at Every Stage

Every word, color, frame & file matters. That’s what makes the whole thing feel right.

03

Built to Hold Up

Ideas have to survive budgets, timelines, feedback & the occasional left turn. The strong ones come through intact.

04

Better together

The strongest version rarely comes from one person. Make room for smart people to speak up & improve it.

About

Big Ideas.
No Nonsense.

I’m a Creative Director working across brands, campaigns, film & generative production. I started as a designer and grew into leading teams and shaping work at a bigger scale. I’m happiest taking something loose or complicated and turning it into something focused, distinctive & ready to go.

Most of my work has been agency-side, on retainer accounts where the same brand needs a new idea every quarter and the last one still has to be defensible. That taught me more about consistency than any brand book.

The generative work started as a previs shortcut and became a real part of the pipeline: pitch visuals, look development, insert shots, market variants. I'm careful about where it goes and open about where it doesn't.

FAQ

A few things
you might ask

Creative Director, in-house or agency-side. I’m at my best leading brands, campaigns, teams & the work from first idea through final execution.

Yep. I’m based in Georgia, open to remote or hybrid & happy to travel when the work is better with everyone in the same room.

Travel, tourism, apparel, tactical, beverage, outdoor & nonprofit. Enough range to get up to speed quickly without pretending every category works the same way.

As another tool for making ideas easier to see. Concept development, pitch visuals, content & production—wherever it helps the team move faster without lowering the bar.

Absolutely. Some of it is under NDA, but I’m happy to walk through the work and the thinking.
